The Problem:
Our customer needed his roof replacing and had historically suffered with high power usage, costly bills, and frequent power cuts.
The Solution:
This customer’s roof needed replacing and he wanted to explore his options with solar. Due to the customers high usage, mainly down to their EV car and immersion heater on their hot water tank, we recommended integrating a Myenergi ZAPPI EV charger and an EDDI energy diverter.
The power generated from the solar will satisfy all loads in the property first, then the excess will charge the battery. Once the battery is full that excess power will then go to their immersion heater and heat the hot water. The customer can also choose to use that excess power to charge his car if that their priority.
As the customer suffers from frequent power cuts, we installed a critical load supply to use the battery storage in the event of a power cut. This will power his lighting, a few sockets, his fridge/freezer, his boiler and his internet router.
