Step One
Full Site Survey
After receiving your enquiry, our friendly team will reach out with any questions and to book in a full site survey and consultation where we will look at your usage and spec a system to your needs.
We will assess the roof, and existing electrical setups, discuss other relevant products, and provide a full and comprehensive proposal within 48 hours of survey.

Step TWO
Install Day
We aim to complete install within 3 weeks of acceptance.
Applications, scaffolding and admin would have all been completed prior to site visit, and domestic installs take on average 1-2 days.
After the install is complete, we do a complete handover, discuss smart phone connection, safety pointers and answer any other questions.

Step Three
Aftercare
Post installation, we monitor all of our systems off site, to ensure everything is working as it should be.
We carry out annual service visits to keep your system working to its maximum potential. This is called Solar Care.
Solar Battery Storage
Solar battery storage is a system that stores surplus electricity generated by your solar panels, allowing you to use that energy later, in the evening or during peak tariff hours.
For homeowners and business owners, battery storage is popular way to get even more value from a solar PV system. Below are some benefits of solar battery storage:

How much will solar panels save me?
This depends on a number of factors including, the size and number of panels installed, the amount of energy you consume and the cost of electricity but according to “The Eco Experts” solar panels will typically save around 70% of your energy bills and will also add between 0.9% and 2% to your property value.
How long will it take to 'pay back' my investment?
It typically takes 3-4 years to pay back an investment in solar panels for your residential property, more often than not, the lower end of the scale.
What type of roof systems do you offer?
This is a question we get asked a lot due to the areas we service in and around the dales and the countryside.
Unlike most other suppliers, who offer ‘on roof’ solar only, we also offer in roof, which is great for our clientele that have stone roofing.
What can be done about excess energy we don't use?
There are several options. The best thing to do is to store excess power in battery storage systems that allow you to store the power and use it overnight. We also offer other products such as an energy diverter that will divert excess power to hot water cylinders or we can link the solar to smart car chargers to trickle feed your electric car.

Jimmy and Jamie did thorough, expert and timely work from survey through to the switch-on of my solar&battery and EV charger installation. The quote was competitive and they were careful to ensure the job was cosmetically as well as functionally as good as it could be. The only hiccup was a delay with the roofer they used as the roofer's prior job had overrun with unforeseen complications. However Jimmy and Jamie managed to make sure than no additional overrun was caused by this delay as they were straight back to work as soon as the roofers had finished their bit here. No one can guarantee there's going to be no unforeseen problems but it's how you deal with them that counts. The solar system itself is great - I am running both the house and electric car from the system and not needing to pay for electricity (bar the standing charge) or fuel is a treat. I would highly recommend these solar system installers.

Power4U recently installed 17 panels on our Harrogate house in the pouring rain and a battery in the garage. The installers were polite and tidy. The system was producing electricity by 4pm that day and they produce when it is bright but not directly sunny .

Well what can I say. From start to finish the lads have been great very professional. Along with SPS roofing they arrived when they said they would, due to rain it took them a little longer than they thought. But this is day two of my adventure and the system is doing more than I thought it would. Only issue I have is that I'm now exporting back to the grid and not getting paid for it. Great Job from start to finish. Came round to give us a quote for Solar and Battery storage within the week, written quoted followed quickly after that. I was having my house re-roofed at the same time and Jimmy / Jamie worked seamlessly with Hunter Roofing to fit the solar as part of that work - end result is solar panels 'in roof' all aligned nicely with the new tiles. Their work is of a high quality and a really neat, professional looking finish. They even took the time to explain how everything works and how to get the best out of the system. Definitely recommend them to anyone who's having or thinking of having the same work done.

Power4U installed my solar system just short of a year ago and even though it was quite a miserable year for weather, it has generated over 10% more than the estimated yearly output I was quoted, which I'm very happy with.

Really pleased with our new solar system. These guys were great, responsive to our needs and happily updating and reviewing our quote until we’d settled on the system that matched our needs and budget. Considerate workers. Both of us work from home and disruption was kept to an absolute minimum meaning work was not compromised or impacted at all. There was a glitch with one of the bits of kit that was installed and they didn’t leave until it was all sorted and tested and fully functioning. When we’re ready to upgrade to a battery system too we’ll definitely come back to Jimmy et al for that.
